Neil C Young is a dynamic guitarist with a definitive flair
and passion for minimalism and jazz. His tracks reflect a mastery and keen
interest in the intricate workings of the guitar which Neil seems to be more
than competent with.
The single ‘Bolo’ from his album ‘Encemble’ is a fantastic,
light and jazzy, with an air of sophistication better suited to a dim lit New
York jazz club than on national radio. It is something precious in a way, like
a best kept secret you don’t want anything to know about.
‘Bolo’ sets the tone for the rest of the album and it is
flawless in its conception and its execution. Sonically and melodically it is a
faultless and we cannot wait to see what else Neil has to offer.
